Steal my dream! This is the boat I have wanted for a while, but still do not have. The boat is in overall nice shape for a 2009 model and she is priced below where we could be.
She is lift kept and runs perfect. We also know the cushions could use some attention and there is also a large chip that needs attention on the Starboard Side of the hard top. Minor cometic glitches that affect nothing on the performance end and can be addressed as you see fit.Â
The electronics package is new and will not disappoint. She is Loaded with everything you will need GPS, Chart Plotter, Radar, Fish, Depth and Auto Pilot. This boat is dying for a Keys and Tortuga Run.. Bahamas anyone? Give me a call and lets get you in this boat.
Sea Trial with video just performed 8/11/23... Boat Runs Great!!Â
A popular model following her introduction in 2009, the World Cat 295 Dual Console (called the 290 Dual Console in 2009– 13) combines a family-friendly layout with the cushioned ride long associated with a catamaran. Dual console boats are designed for versatility, and the World Cat’s shallow draft and excellent seakeeping ability make her a great boat for both shallow-water exploring and offshore fishing. With double-wide helm seats with flip-up bolsters, cushioned bow seating, dual aft fold-down seats, and enclosed head/change room, the 290/295 DC can accommodate as many as 10 people. Fishing features include a 30-gallon livewell abaft the port seat, 46-gallon fish box and bait prep center behind the captain’s seat, and under-gunnel rod storage. An optional entertainment package with refrigerator, stainless steel sink, and portable propane grill replaces the port livewell. A center transom door provides access to the swim platform between the outboards. In a 2014 update, World Cat engineers elevated the space between the two sponsons by deepening the hull resulting in modest performance gains. Yamaha F250 outboards cruise at 25 knots (about 40 knots top).
Accommodating up to 12 people the 290DC is a versatile family fishing and deck boat designed to meet the demands and challenges of experienced boaters who expect not just the highest quality and comfort, but the any-condition reliability and smooth ride that only comes from World Cat. Forward sun lounge and generous aft seating with removable cushions make the 290 Dual Console an incredible family fishing and deck boat. Serious fishermen are rewarded with World Cat's first Euro transom. The Euro transom greatly improves aft access for hauling in the big catch. The expanded marine head and spacious seating on the 290DC are just a few of the details that ensure going offshore is an inclusive adventure you can share with your family and your friends.
