Introduced in 2008 the Marquis 420 SQ was one of the first boats designed with space-saving design thanks to the introduction of the Volvo IPS system. This allowed a much smaller machinery space and created a much larger salon and cabin area.
“All IN” has recently benefitted from an entirely new Garmin electronics package. On the aft deck, a tender was added with chalks on a hydraulic lift platform making deploying the tender an easy transition. The cabin features (2) staterooms and one head layout with a very spacious salon, galley and lower helm area. A very efficient cruise speed is achieved at 28 knots. A very nice economical cruiser with low hours and the latest Garmin electronics package includes a new autopilot.Â

An electric pop-up TV is mounted into the cabinetry and ample storage is also utilized in this space for flatware and other items. Moving forward to port is the Galley area featuring an L-Shaped countertop area with a built-in freshwater sink, Refrigeration, and microwave. An array of new Garmin electronics have just been installed and an electric helm bench seat makes the area very functional and practical.Â
The forward stateroom is the Master stateroom with a centerline queen berth. Lacquered trim surrounds the stateroom with plenty of natural light through the hull side windows. There are two built-in nightstands on each side of the berth and a nicely upholstered settee is at the foot of the berth with additional storage inside.Â
Located on the starboard side is the guest stateroom featuring two side-by-side berths and a large hanging closet.Â
On the aft deck, the salon doors will open to fully encompass the full space of the Salon combined with the aft deck. An ice maker and additional refrigeration are both located to port and starboard. Engine room access is made underfoot. Seating is situated along a forward-facing bench seat and highlighted with another lacquered finish dinette table. To port and starboard are additional storage areas and the swim platform control. The cockpit and swim platform are wrapped with teak and the dingy is securely mounted on the aft swim platform.
