The LAGOON 440 is built of balsawood sandwich (monolithic below the water line), polyester resin, and vinyl-ester resins are used throughout. The counter-moulds are monolithic and the partitions are made of laminated plywood. These yachts are exceptionally light and strong for the volume and space they provide
