2016 Lagoon 39 Owners – Performance set up

Owners Comments: Common Blue was set up for off-grid, live aboard cruising with air conditioning.  By improving sails and lightening the boat by roughly 2,000 lbs.,          Common Blue sails much faster than other Lagoon 39s (and faster than many other boats in her class).  With TWS 8-12, Common Blue sails 6.5-7.5 from 50-180 AWA. With TWS 12-15, she sails 7-8. With 15-18, 8-8.5. Above 18, 8-10.  Very respectable numbers for a cruising catamaran that’s 39’ long.  I point this out in part because there was a fair amount of discussion on the internet about the Lagoon 39 being slow.

Broker Comments:  Common Blue is an amazing example of a well maintained 2016 Lagoon 39 and outfitted for extensive blue water cruising.  The list of recent upgrades from 2021 to present is staggering, making Common Blue a very unique secondhand vessel.
