The Insetta 45 features a foam-cored, vacuum-infused, vinyl-ester resin stepped tunnel hull, inspired by offshore power racing boats. The pair of stepped hulls are asymmetrically inverse and produce a cushion of air that results in increased speed and efficiency. According to the company’s founder, “We took a go-fast hull design and added features to make it more offshore capable. We widened the sponsons and added freeboard, but kept the sea-taming ride of a racing-style catamaran hull.” In addition to the high-performance hull, she bridges the gap between large center consoles and sport fish boats, boasting a head and air-conditioned cabin with sleeping accommodations for 4.
