Mira is one of the most high-spec Antares on the market. Built-in 2017 and owned by the original owner, it has the foundation of the Ted Clements design with substantial updates. It was prepared for the ARC Caribbean 1500, two trans-Atlantic crossings, and Mediterranean cruising. Additionally, she underwent a substantial electric refit, making it a yacht with the solid bones of a traditional Antares but with all the modern benefits.
Mira is perfectly equipped for extended world sailing adventures. She received a major electrical refit in 2021 in the US, upgrading its Victron electrical system designed for global cruising with a minimal carbon footprint. Its massive lithium battery bank (1200 Amp hour) is charged by high-density LG solar panels (2160 Watts), making it ready for true luxury off-the-grid living. All onboard systems are supplied by its extensive inverter bank, including air-conditioning systems, convection oven, microwave oven, washer/dryer, watermaker, hot water heaters, and 120V outlets. The vessel is wired internally for both US and European standard grid power and can accommodate shore power input from either when in port. A custom stainless canopy integrates the aft arch to the coach roof, providing the mounting locations for solar panels, security lights, and Starlink satellite antenna. It also incorporates a retractable Sunbrella sunshade for aesthetics and comfort. Mira is a true short-handed configuration with an in-mast furling main, furling headsails, electric winches, and a complete spinnaker package. These are all designed to be controlled from the comfort of the cockpit. It oozes confidence on all levels for the world cruiser.

Aft Guest Cabin

Forward Guest Cabin
Located just forward of the galley on the port side is the second guest cabin. With beautiful cherry cabinetry continuing throughout, it provides sleeping accommodations for 3 guests with a double berth 52” W x 76” L x 6” D above and single berth below. A 4 rung retractable ladder provides access to the upper
berth. There is additional storage below the bunk, as well as large cupboards besides both beds.

Construction
The hull and deck are constructed of Isophthalic acid resin and tri-axial knitted fiberglass fabric. The skinning layer is 100% vinylester on the exterior and polyester on the interior. Above the waterline, the hulls and deck are cored with Corecell foam, except for hardware attachment points. All coring is vacuum-
bagged to ensure 100% adhesion. Below the waterline, hulls are solid fiberglass. There are 2 forward watertight compartments, one inside each bow locker, as well as 4 watertight bulkheads, 2 forward, and 2 aft. Standard fin keels have a sacrificial section allowing for substantial damage to keels without affecting
hull integrity.
Saloon
The Salon on Mira is open and welcoming, with cherry wood throughout and vast panoramic tinted windows. The main settee is L-shaped and centered in the salon. It is elevated on a platform for increased visibility and provides a large storage bay underneath. The centerpiece of the salon is a cherry wood table
on a manually adjustable pedestal with vertical and horizontal adjustments. Designed to drop down to a coffee table height or rise for dining, the table includes removable folding corners that allow the table to be larger or smaller, depending on the crowd. Mira includes the updated 44e salon design, which adds additional forward-facing raised seating and storage. A gorgeous cherry wood pull-out desk is ideal for a workstation or as an extra table. Tip-out
cupboard for storage and washing machine access. An additional deep storage locker is ideal for safely stowing wine bottles. Some of the additional storage below includes a set of two drawers integrated beneath the bench seat.
• The navigation station faces forward with a day/night LED reading light on a flexible gooseneck, a spacious drawer for instrument storage, and access to computer cables. Pedestal mounted signature Antares chair on swivel.

Climate Control
